A new kind of Finnish thinking for driving 

Helpten Oy is a Finnish Driving-related Data (DRD)Operator, which develops markets, produces and provides information services related to driving and the movement of vehicles for both companies and private individuals.

Helpten was founded in 2007 by key persons with more than 20 years experience of the international fleet telematics business. Helpten’s service concept won the INNOFINLAND Contest in the areas of climate and energy. In 2012 Red Herring selected Helpten among Top 100 Europe’s most innovative and promising companies.

Helpten has strong cooperation connections with Finnish companies: Collaboration agreement to use the Helpten service for multi service pilot projects with Pohjola (largest Finnish insurance company). Pohjola has vast experience in service development of car insurance. If P&C Insurance Company Ltd in cooperation with Volvia Insurance and Helpten Oy arranges driving style test, which examines whether the driver’s driving style can be affected through the current technology. Close collaboration with Aplicom, a European pioneer with over 15 years experience of telematic devices and software. Also cooperations with Nokia (digital map and mobile phone provider).

Helpten is heading towards rapid international growth. In 2011 turnover increased 260%.  At the moment we have sales offices in Finland and in Germany.
