Helpten Navigate improves your company’s customer service significantly as response times fall.

While ordinary navigation systems certainly get the vehicle to the destination, Helpten has taken the idea of more effective driving somewhat further. Helpten Navigate is an additional service for vehicle management, using which the fleet co-ordinator can manage their personnel more quickly than before, with the aid of the computer.

Helpten Navigate works as follows:

As the fleet vehicles are on route, the co-ordinator can immediately see the location of each one on the on-screen map. In the event of an urgent customer service situation, the co-ordinator will immediately be able to pass the service request on to all fleet vehicles in the relevant area. The driver of each fleet vehicle can then take up or refuse the request, at which point the co-ordinator can direct the vehicle nearest to the customer to the required destination. Available and engaged-status vehicles are indicated in different colours on the system, so that they’re easier to follow. Once a service request has been accepted, the co-ordinator also gets an immediate estimated time of arrival from the driver, aided by the navigation system. The navigator can also provide notification of arrival at the destination and a signing-off of the work done at the destination.

The Helpten Navigation Support also provides clear reports on the vehicles’ record of capacity utilization, which can be analysed to optimise the usage of the fleet pool and save on fuel consumption. Management of the business becomes more purpose-oriented and cost-effective with the aid of Navigation Support.
